Fergs Kayaks Wellington is the proud owner of New Zealand's largest real rock wall. With 13 metres of vertical possibility and top ropes covering climbs from the most basic level to tricky overhang problems, this place serves up something for everyone. But it doesn't stop there, as well as our excellent top rope facilities we offer lead climbing routes and bouldering problems.
We endeavour to change climbing routes regularly, so if you climb often you will have new challenges.
As with our kayaking, Fergs Kayaks doesn't just have the wall for freedom climbing, we like to encourage anyone and everyone to give it ago, we also have courses and lessons to help you advance or get over that plateau.

Although my first passion is kayaking, I love other sports too, and when I opened the shop in Wellington I thought about what else people would love to experience. Now we are the proud owners of a fantastic rock wall that can accomodate absolute beginners to mountain pro's. Come down and try out your monkey skills, or just give it a go.
