Construction Options
Value (Club): The Value construction, also called the Club version, got its name simply because it is the most economical construction option we offer. It is also our heaviest construction, yet comparable to most competitors' standard boats.
Performance: The Performance construction is a composite hybrid. We consider it to be the best value in the industry. Epic Performance kayaks are significantly lighter than the competition's equivalent products, yet are offered at a comparable price point.
Ultra: The Ultra construction is very light and popular with the fitness and racing paddlers. It is light, stiff, and extremely strong in the water. Our Ultra disclaimer states that while stronger in the water than the Value and Performance lay-ups, the Ultra is more susceptible to impact damage and requires more care when handling.

the Epic V10 is incredibly fast and agile while maintaining comfortable stability. A fully adjustable footbrace combines with a high-capacity venturi drain to keep water out. The single footwell and front deck cutaway allow for a closer, more powerful stroke. The adjustable footbrace with self-adjusting pedals will accommodate paddlers from 5'3" to 6'7" in height.
A smaller paddler would be better served by our V10L surf ski model.

The V10 Sport offers terrific flat water speed and exceptional rough water performance, similar to the V10, but with more stability. This model is more comfortable for beginners to intermediate paddlers, particularly those learning proficiency in rough water and waves. The V10 Sport fits a wide variety of sizes, accommodating paddlers from 5'0" to 6'7". The footbrace is fully adjustable with self-adjusting pedals.

The V10L is a lower volume version of our award-winning V10 surf ski. It's been lowered the front deck to decrease windage and moved the seat up 2" to give a better position for smaller to mid-sized paddlers. The V10L is proving very popular in areas that don't regularly encounter 6'+ waves. A heavier paddler and/or someone regularly paddling in areas with waves over 6' (2 meters) high would be better served by our V10 model. The V10L has an adjustable footbrace with self-adjusting pedals designed to fit shorter leg lengths — accommodating paddlers from 4'11" to 6'3" tall. |

Welcome to the next evolution... The goal of the V12 was to make the fastest surfski possible. Mission accomplished! For flat to moderate conditions the speed of this ski is unmatched (with the bailer closed it’s approximately 3% faster than the V10).
